Sahvannah Rae is a Mexica-American screenwriter and director known for her raw, character-driven storytelling and visually arresting style. Since making her directorial debut in 2018, she has dedicated herself to crafting bold, emotionally layered films that explore the vast and varied female experience through a sophisticated yet deeply relatable lens. After spending the first 5 years of her career training under filmmakers Zack Snyder and David Ayer, Sahvannah launched her own niche studio, Skye Film Studios, in 2021 alongside her sister and producing partner Skye Bleu. Together, they slate unapologetically loud, visually striking, and fiercely character-focused films that center unlikely voices and challenge conventional narratives. Her work lives in the gray space between beauty and terror, where characters confront the most haunting parts of themselves with unflinching honesty, continuing to push boldly into the realm of female-driven independent cinema.
SKYE BLEU
Skye Bleu is a Mexican-American producer and Co-Founder of Skye Film Studios. A graduate of Chapman University with a dual degree, she first honed her skills in stage management before transitioning into film, where she developed a sharp business acumen that informs every project she undertakes. Known for her hands-on approach and strong command of budgeting, Skye has built a reputation as a resourceful and detail-oriented producer. Alongside her sister, she has championed films that blend striking visual language with deeply human stories. Their latest feature, Parallel of Dreams, premieres this winter on Tubi, continuing Skye’s mission to craft cinema that resonates across cultures and perspectives.
